Vehicular Wayfinding and Signage Program

The citywide vehicular signage and wayfinding program consists of a variety of directional, identification, and informational sign elements. The system primarily addresses the parking needs of Summit's residents and visitors by making clear distinctions between public and private parking areas via directional signs. Additionally, C&VE developed a simplified parking garage and lot identification system using icons of resident parking permits and large time limit numerals. Included in the overall sign program are street name signs, parking meter labels, and seasonal street banners. The program will ultimately interface with the City of Summit's regulatory sign system.
