Chris Calori, Principal
Ms. Calori as a principal of Calori & Vanden-Eynden has extensive experience in signage and identity design for a wide range of project types, and developed C&VE's effective information/graphics/hardware systems approach to signage program design and management. She originated C&VE's pioneering service of master planning signage programs for large-scale, phased-implementation sites. Complementing her analytical and managerial skills, Ms. Calori has highly creative design talents and a thorough knowledge of sign fabrication techniques.

Affiliations: Professional Affiliate, American Institute of Architects (AIA), New York Chapter. Fellow and Professional Member, Society for Environmental Graphic Design (SEGD).

Recognition: Ms. Calori's work has received awards from the SEGD, AIA, IDSA, AIGA, and the City of New York, and has been featured in numerous national and international periodicals and books. Her writing on environmental graphic design has appeared in several publications. She has authored the book Signage and Wayfinding Design: A Complete Guide to Creating Environmental Graphic Design Systems , published by John Wiley & Sons, Inc.

Teaching: Former Adjunct Assistant Professor, Fashion Institute of Technology, State University of NY. Former Interim Associate Professor, Ohio State University. Ms. Calori has also been a speaker and presenter at numerous colleges, universities, and at SEGD and AIA events.

Previous Experience: Before forming C&VE, Ms. Calori's professional career focused on design and management of signage programs for some of America's leading design firms in New York and San Francisco, including Chermayeff & Geismar Associates, Bonnell Design Associates, Bechtel Corporation, and Primo Angeli Graphics.
