David Vanden-Eynden, Principal
Mr. Vanden-Eynden as principal of Calori & Vanden-Eynden has a broad range of signage design and management skills for a wide variety of project types. He is highly experienced in three-dimensional design and sign fabrication methods. He was instrumental in developing C&VE's techniques for conceptualizing, detailing, and documenting the physical components of sign programs, and coordinates the details of large-scale signage projects.

Professional Affiliations: Fellow, Professional Member, and former member of the Board of Directors, SEGD. Professional Member, American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA). Former member, Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA).

Recognition: Mr. Vanden-Eynden's work has been awarded honors by the SEGD, AIA, IDSA, the AIGA, and the City of New York. His work has been published in numerous national and international periodicals and books.

Teaching: Former Visiting Instructor, Yale University and the University of Cincinnati. Former Adjunct Instructor, Fashion Institute of Technology, State University of NY. Speaker, lecturer, and juror for events sponsored by many professional and educational organizations.

Education: Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design, Ohio State University, 1974.

Previous Experience: In his professional experience prior to forming C&VE, Mr. Vanden-Eynden focused on signage design with the leading San Francisco and New York firms of Primo Angeli Graphics and Lance Wyman Ltd. He also provided design consultation services to Chermayeff & Geismar Associates, MetaForm, Gottschalk & Ash International, and Frankfurt Balkind + Associates.
