Opportunities for Environmental Graphic Designers

We are seeking one intermediate designer (2 to 3 years experience) and one senior level designer (5 to 7 years experience) to work on national and international EGD projects. Experience with transportation and mixed-use projects a plus. Applicants must be familiar with the design of signage and wayfinding systems as well as identity development and print graphics. Must be willing to travel. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, curious, open-minded, and team players. The C&VE studio provides a relaxed, open work environment requiring collaboration, individual initiative and responsibility.

Proficiency in Illustrator, In-Design, PhotoShop, MS Word, FileMaker Pro, PowerPoint, Keynote, and Creative Suite on the Mac is essential. Experience with Sketch Up, HTML, Flash, modeling, rendering and CAD software is helpful. Candidates must be able to read and understand architectural drawings and be familiar with the programming, documentation, materials, processes, and fabrication techniques of signage, wayfinding, and environmental graphics systems from concept to close-out. Must be able to work in scale, both imperial and metric. Good communication, speaking, and writing skills required. Must have a BA or BS degree minimum.
